SpenceMusic Guestbook

All messages regarding Brian Spence, Bilbo Baggins or this website are welcome. However, a common misunderstanding is that Spence Music is Brian's official website instead of a fan's tribute to him. Any messages for Brian will be forwarded to him, but please do not expect a reply and he is still busy and no response can be disappointing.

Looking for music from scottish bands for a Burns supper and remembered I shared a flat briefly in Edinburgh in the 70's with a guy who used to play in a band called Bilbo Baggins;
I've downloaded the single and it will have pride of place in tonights playlist (One of the other flatmates at the time will also be there)
Thanks for the site and music;

You don't say who that person was who shared a flat with you. Is it because it was so long ago that you have forgotten, or that the drugs were so good that you really can't remember or you want to protect them from memories of what they did whilst there? :-)

First of all, thanx for your reply; The doubt is finally gone! Now I have yet another question, this one I believe is a tough one, but here it goes nonetheless: For those who donīt know this, Brian Spence has a huge legion of fans here in Portugal; Any good collection of Rock hits must include one of Brian's songs, the most common being "Hear it From the Heart"; I myself, as a Rock DJ, can't do a party without throwing at least one theme from BS to the audience, and the response is always enthusiastic; His albums, although rare items, are at the top of selling CD's of any store of ROCK music; So my question is: Brian, you and your agent must sit down, have a drink, and talk about you coming to Portugal! You must play for us! That would be something; I know I speak for many hundreds, even thousands only in the area of Lisbon and Cascais;
PLease consider this;
Well, hoping to see you soon, I bid you farewell, and ROCK ON!

Webmaster comments   Hi Vitor
This is not the first request for Brian to visit Portugal. In doing this web site I have found a loyal fan base world-wide, but especially in your part of the world. I will pass your message on to him, however, please do not hold your breath. I'm sure he would love to go to Portugal, but I am also sure he would only visit if he had new music to perform, along with some of his past classics.

Hi there; For a long time i've been asking the same question, with various answers; Now is the time to pose it here, hoping one of you, fans, may know the right answer; Here goes: Is there an extended or remixed version of the song "Will you never be my friend"? Anyone who knows this, please answer via this guestbook, or, to my e-mail; Thanx, and ROCK ON!!!
